Use the approved 1-page, 2 column paper template that is found on the Paper Template Tab of this website.
The following sequence is required to successfully submit your one-page paper.
Assign Paper ID. In order to receive a paper ID through OpenConf, please go to the paper submission portal at https://www.openconf.org/GlobalEM2026/openconf.php and click on the “Make Submission” button. Fill out the requested information. Be sure to remember the password you set for the paper.

When you reach the OpenConf paper submission page, fill out all the information requested.

After you have filled out the author(s) information for the paper and the contact author, select the topic that you feel your paper is best suited. Finally, if you wish the paper to be considered for the Best Student Paper Award, select the button provided (please check the rules for Student Paper Awards on the website). You then pick a password for the paper. Please record this password and keep it in a safe place, as you will need it to submit your one-page paper and to edit it at a later date. If you have specific questions for the technical review team, you may include those for their consideration in the Comments section of the submission form. When you are satisfied that everything is correct, click on the “Make Submission” button. The contact author will then receive an email with the paper ID number and a copy of your submission.
Once you have prepared your one-page paper in the required format, you may upload it using OpenConf. On the same page that you requested your paper ID, click on the “Upload File” link. Note that only a pdf file will be accepted by OpenConf. Please follow the format carefully, as an incorrect format will be rejected by the reviewers. Also, note that the paper can be no longer than one page. You will need your paper ID number and password to complete the submission. You will receive a confirmation email that your paper was successfully uploaded.
